STEM School Shooter Will Be Tried as an Adult
The 16-year-old minor involved in the STEM School shooting in Highlands Ranch last week will be tried as an adult according to the Coloradoan. Suspects Alec McKinney, 16 and Devon Erickson, 18, have been in jail since their apprehension in the school shooting.
McKinney, 16, will be tried as an adult on charges of first-degree murder. The shooting wounded eight and caused the death of Kendrick Castillo. Castillo was one of three students that tackled one of the shooters in his classroom.
