We love our Susan Moore so much around here. She is always a ray of sunshine even on a dark day. We are so blessed to have been able to spend the last 15 years with her each day. We are an unusual morning team in the sense that we are actually the best of friends off the air as well as on. Todd and Jenny and Susan and Bob and Kyla and I really do hang out together as often as possible which is why it hurts us all when one of us is down.

Susan is down for now. Susan was injured in a horse mishap while Todd and I were doing the 28 Hours of Hope. It was very hard to keep focused after we heard that our beloved partner was in the ER. I will let Susan tell you the whole story when she returns, which she will. I will tell you that this is a tough one but I can also tell you that is one of the toughest people I know and she will adapt and be just fine. I visited her over the weekend and she is in fantastic spirits. She wanted to come back today but we are making her wait a week or so and visit her doctor. She lost parts of two fingers on her right hand and that will be a life changing deal. She will be fine but will have to learn to use the left hand a lot more.

We love her and I know thousands of you do too. Please write Susan a message of support here and let her know how much she is loved and needed. She will be back better than  ever and we will be right here waiting with open arms. We love you Susan.
