‘Cafe on the Corner,’ Sawyer Brown’s ninth studio album, was released at the peak of the group’s early ’90s fame. Three Top 5 hits came from the record including the title track, ‘All These Years’ and ‘Trouble on the Line.’

Critics and country music listeners found plenty to enjoy on this album. It’s referred to as their most “fully realized album” at AllMusic.com. By this time, the band had gotten away from rock ‘n’ roll, steering towards a more pure country sound.

While ‘Cafe on the Corner’ didn’t earn the group any awards, it continued a trend of doing more with music videos than most country bands of the day. ‘Cafe on the Corner’ and ‘All These Years’ were both dark and revealing, but terribly interesting.
