I have always thought that Sammy Kershaw sounded like George Jones and every time I ever saw him in concert he would say that The Possum was his greatest influence.  So, finally Sammy released a George Jones tribute album called "Do You Know Me? - A Tribute to George Jones".

The album was released on July 22. It debuted at #37 on the Billboard Top Country Music Chart. It was Kershaw's first Billboard Top 40 album in more than a decade.

The 14-track tribute to Jones is produced by Kershaw and available through his label, Big Hit Records.  The album is available in stores now as well as digitally through iTunes and Amazon.com.
