This would be an even bigger hit with say the Green Bay Packer fans in the crowd! A simple game day meaty snack is always welcome to a hungry crowd of football fans.
Sweet Baby Bell Peppers
Baby Bell Peppers

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

2 packages of Polska Kielbasa, 1 medium onion, a handful of baby bell peppers, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper (about a 1/4 of a tsp, unless your crowd can handle it a bit hotter) toothpicks

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:

Cut the sausage in to 1" inch pieces (or 1/2 inch if you have a large crowd), brown the sausage in a medium skillet on all sides, remove sausage from pan, add a little butter, once it begins to melt swirl it around the pan and then add your onion that you've chopped (you want pieces of onion that are small enough not to overpower the taste, but big enough to pair well with the sausage) After about 2 minutes add the baby bell peppers that you have chopped similarly to the onion and cook for another 3 minutes (you want the onions and peppers to still have a bit of a crunch, but not that raw crunch) When done remove sprinkle with the seasonings and toss, let cool enough to handle them (if you want to you can add the sausage back in at the end of cooking the veggies for a minute so that they warm a bit-that's what I do) Once everything has cooled enough to handle, put a piece of sausage on a toothpick followed by a piece of onion and a piece or two of peppers (here's where the Green bay Packers fans can have fun, use only green and yellow peppers)

Serve with a variety of mustard's!
