A Denver couple is heartbroken after their puppy was stolen at gunpoint last week.

According to Denver Now, the incident occurred on Thursday (September 17), when Shawn Rozinski and Pravenna Dewers were walking their two-month-old mini dachshund, Loki, around Nettie Moore playground.

The publication reports that two teenagers stopped the couple and asked to take a photo with Loki, before pointing a gun at them and telling them not to take him back.

In a Facebook post, Rozinski said that the teenagers drove off with Loki in a black 2005 Saturn VUE.

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers (MDCS) revealed that the Denver Police Department (DPD) has identified two suspects in connection with the incident, but has not yet been able to locate them.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of Loki, please contact MDCS at (720) 913-7867. Those who call in with tips are eligible for a $2,000 reward.
