On November 17, Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of Dinosaurs will be swooping into town, straight from the American Museum of Natural History, and landing at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery through April 2. FoCo's Museum of Discovery is only one of three other museums in the country to host this interactive exhibit that takes visitors back in time to explore the mysterious and exciting world of pterosaurs in a completely hands-on way. Within the exhibit, guests will get to learn about these kings of the sky with specially-focused apps and videos, check out rare fossils, and even soar the skies over prehistoric landscapes while piloting an actual pterosaur in the Virtual Flight Lab. To show the diversity of these unique creatures, four life-size pterosaur models named Dawndraco, Quetzalcoatlus, Sodes and Preondactylus will also be on-site at the museum.

FCMoD is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and until 8 p.m. on Thursdays.

Ticket pricing is as follows:

Adult: $18.00

Senior: $14.50

Junior: $12.50

Student (w/ID): $14.50

As always, museum members are granted free admission.
