Crews worked through the night to restore power to  Poudre Valley REA's grid. As of 7:00 a.m. Friday morning approximately 750 homes remained without electricity. 700 of those are concentrated near Lyons along and east of the foothills highway. The other 50 are scattered single outages throughout the 2,000 square mile service territory.

Consumers are urged to call the Emergency Outage Phone Number established at 866-260-4024 to report problems or outages. Consumers are reminded that staying safe is the most important thing to remember. Stay away from downed power lines or any other electrical equipment. Do not ever assume that a line is not energized and call if you see a problem. If there is injury, sparking or fire present call 911 first.

We want to thank all of our members for their help in locating outages and their patience during this weather emergency and are grateful to our hard working and dedicated team members as they worked, and continue to work, to restore power to all of our co-op families.
