After a temporary four-month closure, Fort Collins's libraries are returning with grab-and-go services.

According to a press release, the Poudre Valley Library district decided to temporarily close its doors in order to help lessen the spread of the coronavirus in the Northern Colorado community.

On July 13, though, the libraries will return with modified hours and services, including 'Grab-and-Go' browsing and checkout. Thanks to the Poudre Valley Library district, grab and go services will include much of what you're used to, including checking out books, using the curbside pickup service, checking out holds, searching the online catalog, and more. However, meeting rooms and study rooms will remain closed, computer and technology services are suspended, and in-library programs will not take place unless it has a virtual counterpart.

The libraries will also have a special hour of service for high-risk customers, such as the elderly. You can read more about these hours and things to remember about the library when you return on the Poudre Valley Library District website right here.
