Poudre, Thompson, Greeley Districts Cancel After School Events
This early season snow is causing all kinds of problems across Northern Colorado. Kids were really crossing their fingers for a snow day, but that didn't happen.
However, conditions have caused Poudre School District, Thompson School District, Greeley-Evans School District and Weld RE-4 School District to cancel after-school activities today, October 29. At this point, students will finish the day with buses running on normal schedules.
From Poudre School District:
After closely monitoring current conditions, ALL Poudre School District athletic activities, practices, games, and extracurricular activities are canceled this afternoon, Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, due to the inclement weather.
BASE Camp afternoon sessions are also canceled. Parents/guardians are asked to pick up their child(ren) at their school(s) at normal dismissal time.
PSD’s Transportation department does NOT expect any variances to usual pick-up and drop-off times for students who receive regular PSD busing. Those with questions may call the department at 970-490-3232.
