There has been quite a bit of activity with bears in Colorado this year. According to the Coloradoan, Colorado Parks and Wildlife announced that there have been over 1,800 bear reports statewide and more than 1,300 of them since June 1.

Larimer County has received more than 100 reports involving black bears with humans in 2020. Two attacks involving black bears have happened in the last week. Colorado Parks and Wildlife is asking residents to be alert for black bears.
