NoCo's Best 2021: Best Wings in Northern Colorado

The people spoke, and we listened. The search for the best wings in NoCo is over! We all love that time to sit down and be messy with our food, and chicken wings are the go-to dish for that. This year, we had a solid lineup of the best wings: Jim's Wings, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Wing Shack. These are for sure the go-to spots here in Fort Collins.

First off, Buffalo Wild Wings has an awesome environment. Everybody loves wings and sports, and this place is generally first of mind. One of the favorites that we had was their mango habanero flavor. If you like heat, this one for sure packs a punch. Buffalo Wild Wings will always deliver for a good place to hang out and get some good wings.

Next: Jim's Wings. Anybody who goes to or has gone to CSU has probably been here. Jim's Wings is conveniently located next to CSU’s campus and is a hot spot for students as well as families who love good wings. One of the flavors that stood out to us was the extra hot buffalo. Buffalo is a go-to for most, and here the extra hot gives that little kick to make you want more. Jim’s is definitely a staple for any occasion.

Finally, Wing Shack is a favorite in Fort Collins (and across Northern Colorado) and is another excellent wing spot. With seasonal wing flavors, there is always something new to try here. Whether you are looking for something sweet or something to set your mouth on fire: they’ve got it! Something surprising about Wing Shack was the sheer amount of flavors they had, all with their unique tastes. One flavor that stood out to us was the garlic hot. It had a rich flavor with a good punch of spice.

With the variety of food options in NoCo, it can sometimes be hard to decide. While all these wing places are fantastic and should definitely be tried, there is one that stood out the most. However, you're going to have to head to the Taste of Fort Collins to see which one we picked as NoCo's Best.

NoCo's Best is an annual program that recognizes the best Northern Colorado restaurants and food selected by the residents of Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and NoCo towns.
