A new year means a new chance to find a new furry friend.

That new companion could be at one of NOCO Humane's  three locations in Larimer County, Weld County, or their Greeley adoption campus.

Thanks to Camp Bow Wow, we’re proud to highlight a different adoptable animal each week as part of our Townsquare NoCo Pet of the Week feature.

Meet our latest pet of the week: Sky!

Sky is a 6-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a gentle spirit who can be bit shy at first.

With the right family, she's sure to thrive!

Sky is a big fan of treats (who isn't?) and sits incredibly politely when snacks are involved.

Some of her favorite things include going on walks and exploring the outdoors at her own pace. Our friends at NOCO Humane also said that she does great on a leash.

Sky is housetrained, gets along well with cats, and is a Grade A cuddle big.

She’s been waiting for her forever home since August, and she’s more than ready to finally find it. Sky can be a little enthusiastic when playing with other dogs, so if you have pups at home, an in-shelter meet and greet is recommended.

You can meet Sky at NOCO Humane and see if she’s the missing piece to your family.
