Northern Colorado's NOCO Humane is a phenomenal place to go if you are looking for a cat, dog, or other animal. I have adopted a pet from NOCO Humane myself. The experience was great, and I personally would not go anywhere else in Northern Colorado. I'll be adopting any and all future pets exclusively from NOCO Humane.

Taka is a three-year-old orange tabby cat. He is a very handsome and sweet boy who lives for being petted and head-butting. Taka is extremely affectionate and loves physical affection. He loves to play with wand toys and things that dangle.

A Calm, Playful Cat Ready to Brighten Your Home

Taka is affectionate, but he is also extremely calm and low-key. NOCO Humane tells us that he will brighten anybody's home. He truly has the perfect combination of being a love bug, calm, and charming.

What You Should Know About Taka’s FIV Diagnosis

Taka arrived at NOCO Humane with other cats and would do well in a multi-pet home.

One thing to keep in mind about this sweet boy is that he did test positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, more commonly known as FIV. This means that Taka must be an indoor cat. FIV can only be transmitted to other cats by deep bites, and playtime should be monitored.

I live in a home with a cat with FIV. The other two cats live together with her just fine.
