For this category, we had to choose between three Fort Collins eateries: Blue Agave Grill, Taqueria Los Comales, and La Buena Vida. Here's what we thought of each one:

Blue Agave Grill | 201 S College Ave

According to Blue Agave Grill, Northern Colorado natives Richard and Brenda Lucio opened the Fort Collins location in 2014. We tried their burritos for dinner, and they were delicious. However, we have to admit the margarita was our favorite thing.

Taqueria Los Comales | 111 W Prospect Rd

Taqueria Los Comales has been a Fort Collins staple since 2001. We loved their unique takes on authentic Mexican food — and its affordability. Make sure to try the watermelon margarita.

La Buena Vida | 901 E Harmony Rd

La Buena Vida focuses specifically on Michoacan Mexican cuisine. We couldn't get enough of their seafood specials and the Chile Verde. Plus, we enjoyed the restaurant's upscale yet cozy vibe.

NoCo's Best is an annual program that recognizes the best Northern Colorado restaurants and food as selected by the residents of Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, and neighboring NoCo towns. Thanks to everyone who participated.
