
These Two NoCo Towns Have the Worst Drivers in Colorado
As someone who drives all over Northern Colorado every day, I have seen some things. Accidents, people veering out of their lanes, running red lights, the list goes on.
The more vehicles there are on the road, the better your chances are of seeing some unsafe driving. That is just basic math. However, two Northern Colorado towns got top honors in a bad way when it comes to driving.
Northern Colorado Cities Ranked Worst
According to Lending Tree, both Greeley and Windsor took the top spots for the cities with the worst drivers in the state of Colorado. Based on incidents per 1,000 drivers in each city, Greeley ranked second with 20.2 incidents, and Windsor had the worst drivers with 23 incidents per 1,000 drivers.

Overall, Gen Z drivers seem to be the absolute worst in Colorado, with 61.4 incidents per 1,000 drivers, followed by Millennial drivers with 23.2 incidents per 1,000 drivers.
Vehicle Makes With the Worst Drivers
Additionally, Lending Tree breaks down bad drivers in Colorado based on vehicle makes. These are the vehicles with the worst drivers, with incidents per 1,000 drivers:
- Lexus - 26.5
- Acura - 27.3
- Mazda - 27.6
- Tesla - 27.7
- Ram - 29.1

Other reports have put Aurora and Pueblo as cities with the worst drivers in the state of Colorado. However, Colorado seems to have some of the best drivers in the nation, according to other key findings. However you slice it, there are bad drivers everywhere. Your best bet is to always stay aware while you are driving on the roads of Colorado so you don't end up in an accident.
