I had the opportunity to be a judge for the Miss Colorado, Kansas, and Wyoming High School, Junior High and Collegiate America Pageant on Saturday and Sunday.  Nine very talented young ladies were crowned last night in the scholarship pageant in Westminster.

Grace Ragan, from Denver East High School, is the new Miss Colorado Junior High.  Jessica Rindahl, from Highlands Ranch High School, is the new Miss Colorado High School. Lexy Kadey, from Lindenwood University, won the Colorado Collegiate competition. The winners at the state competition will compete at the national pageant in Orlando, Florida in July of 2015.

I was so impressed by all of the contestants.  I thought it would be a piece of cake to pick a winner. I was wrong.  It was much closer than I expected. There were so many talented contestants. I am so glad we had five judges to make the final decisions.

Judges B.J. Kingsbaker, Bonnie Milano, Todd Harding, Mette Boving Castor, and Janell Ames
