The mountain lion that attacked a Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputy and a resident of an RV park was shot on Wednesday, March 11.

The Reporter-Herald is reporting that Colorado Parks and Wildlife tested the 91-pound male, and did find it to have rabies.

Both the deputy and the resident of Riverview RV Park & Campground have been notified, and the Larimer County Department of Health and Environment is currently managing the 'rabies exposure' investigation.
