There are many dogs, cats, and critters available for adoption right now in Northern Colorado. Before you go anywhere else, we highly recommend that you go see the animals that are available at Noco Humane.

Noco Humane is phenomenal. They do everything they can to ensure the animals in their care are prepared for their forever home.

Each week, we highlight an animal that is available for adoption right now at Noco Humane.

Here is this week's Townsquare NoCo Pet of the Week brought to you by Camp Bow Wow.

Meet Mars: Available for Adoption in Northern Colorado

We are excited to introduce you to Mars. Mars is a three-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat. Mars is a very sweet boy. He prefers to watch everybody in a cozy spot. He loves to observe.

Mars is quite shy and will need to have some time to be comfortable and come out of his shell.

Mars's ideal home is one that is loving and patient. Mars will adjust with time, but he will need to adjust at his own pace.

He has an extremely gentle soul. He enjoys head and ear scratches and treats.

What to Consider Before Adopting Mars from NOCO Humane

Mars is looking for a patient and loving home without kids under six years old. Also, Mars can be scared of new places. If you are considering adopting Mars, you need to be patient.

Mars sounds a lot like my cat Memphis. Memphis was extremely shy at first, but once she warmed up, she became the sweetest, loving, and silly girl.
