Meet Kix: Our NOCO Humane Pet of the Week

Meet Kix: Ready for Adoption in Northern Colorado

Kix is a male two-year-old labrador retriever mix available for adoption right now at NOCO Humane. Kix is an extremely happy boy. Some of his favorite activities are running, playing, bouncing, and chasing butterflies.

I bet it would be a lot of fun watching Kix chase butterflies in your backyard or a dog park.

Kix's happiness and joy is contagious. He is an extremely radiant little guy who just wants to play and be loved.

What To Consider Before Adopting Kix From NOCO Humane

Kix gets excited and can have high energy. He also has a tendency to jump. Make sure to give him positive reinforcement to correct any jumping. He also pulls a little while he is on a leash.

NOCO Humane recommends that he go to a home without young children due to his jumping. Kix gets excited like most other dogs, so you will need to do some light training with him.

Kix loves toys as well. Some positive reinforcement with treats and toys will make Kix the perfect dog for you.
