Meet Bratwurst: Our NOCO Humane Pet of the Week

NOCO Humane is the best place in Northern Colorado to find your next dog, cat, or critter. We have been highlighting animals up for adoption with Townsquare Pet of the Week for five months now and I finally decided to adopt an animal.

Meet Bratwurst: Ready for Adoption in Northern Colorado

We are very excited to introduce you to Bratwurst. He is a four-year-old- Pitbull. First of all, we would like to mention how great of a name that is. Secondly, Bratwurst came to NOCO Humane as a stray and they do not know a ton about his past. As of writing this, on November 1, he has been in the warm and loving care of NOCO Humane for 64 days. He is excited about finding his forever home.

Bratwurst has been working extremely well with the Behavior and Animal Care Teams at NOCO Humane. Bratwurst has a contagious smile and is a happy-go-lucky guy.

He is extremely loyal and loves to cuddle. Additionally, Bratwurst is incredibly smart and is fairly easy to train. He is leash-trained, has a ton of energy, and enjoys running, playing, and exploring.

What To Consider Before Adopting Bratwurst from NOCO Humane

Since Bratwurst is a ball of energy and fun,  he will need some guidance and patience. He is very excitable and tends to jump.NOCO Humane says if you have a home with cats, young children, or other dogs, Bratwurst might not be a good fit for your home.

As we mentioned earlier, Bratwurst came into the care of NOCO Humane as a stray, so they have been learning more about him every day and his past remains a bit of a mystery.
