Bongo Ready For Adoption Now in Northern Colorado
Bongo is a three-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix available for adoption. Bongo is a boy and he is 75 pounds.
Bongo is a very happy guy. Bongo becomes more extroverted, playful, squirmy, and sweet-natured the more he gets to know you.
It may take him a little bit to warm up, but Bongo is a total sweetheart.

Bongo is fantastic with other dogs and he would enjoy living in a multi-pet home.
Bongo is smart and already knows the "sit" command.
What to Consider Before Adopting Bongo at NOCO Humane
Bongo is a happy and big guy, but he will need some positive reinforcement training with treats to manage his excitement. Bongo tends to get very excited and a bit jumpy.
You can train him to stop with positive reinforcement. You can use the same tactic for leash training. Bongo likes to pull when he finds something to be excited about.
Bongo is looking for a home without children under 12 years old. He is also fearful of some men. Before adoption, it is recommended that Bongo meets any men who live in the household.
