Meet Ash: Our NOCO Humane Pet of the Week

Each week, we like to highlight an animal that is available for adoption right now. We are very excited to introduce you to this week’s Townsquare NoCo Pet of the Week.
Ash Is Ready for Adoption in Northern Colorado
Ash is a one-year-old Australian Cattle Dog & American Pit Bull Terrier mix available for adoption at NOCO Humane.
He is extremely sweet, goofy, and playful. Ash is an energetic little guy who loves to run and get out the wiggles. Ash is looking for his forever adventure buddy. He loves long walks and playing fetch.

Ash already has some training dialed in. He knows to sit, stay, and, come.
What to Consider Before Visiting Ash at NOCO Humane
Ash is a great guy, but you may face some challenges when bringing him home. These characteristics can be fixed with training. Ash gets extremely excited when he goes on walks. It takes him a minute or two to settle down. He shows his excitement by biting the leash.
NOCO Humane also recommends that Ash goes to a home without cats, small mammals, or small dogs. Ash can be a little timid around pushy male dogs.
Ash does great around female dogs, though. Ash has a history of liking female dogs.
