Meet Kai Frawg, one of the admins of the Northern Colorado chapter of the #MasksNow Facebook group (formerly known as Million Mask Mayday).

I interviewed Kai with the intention of spreading her message and efforts far and wide across the state, as she is one of many Northern Coloradans sewing masks our healthcare workers.

Besides her efforts to organize and mobilize the #MasksNow coalition, Kai cares for her disabled son and is herself disabled, making both of them especially vulnerable during this time. This is partly what inspired her to get involved as the pandemic spread, and has led her to work with 18 other organizers and over 1,000 volunteers across the nation.
