Golden Police have identified the man who was swept away in Clear Creek over the weekend. 39-year-old Sean Duplessis is from Alberta, Canada. He was in Colorado the past two months working for his company in Canada.

According to 7News: Duplessis and a co-worker were near the kayak park in Golden along Clear Creek when they decided to jump in around midnight Saturday morning. A preliminary search was done for the man in the early-morning hours Saturday and a more extensive search of Clear Creek was conducted during daylight hours. No sign of Duplessis was found. The two had been drinking.

DUPLESSIS CONSIDERED MISSING PERSON

Although he is presumed to be dead, he is considered a missing person. Duplessis is 5-feet 8-inches tall and weighs 210 pounds. Anyone has seen Duplessis is asked contact Golden Police at 303-384-8045.
