Man Fights Mountain Lion With Pocket Knife

Another Colorado man has fought for his life with a mountain lion that attacked him. This time, the incident happened in Grand County. The man was near the Bighorn Park subdivision when the man noticed that there was a mountain lion following him.

When the man began to back away from the lion, he fell. That is when the big cat took his opportunity. After the man stabbed the mountain lion with a pocket knife the young male mountain lion ran away. Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials located the mountain lion in the area where they put the animal down. According to KDVR, the mountain lion was an aggressive young male with little food in its stomach.
