According to a City of Loveland press release, Longbow Industries, the parent company of Loveland’s LPR Construction Co., notified City Manager Steve Adams by letter on Tuesday, May 21, that they would not pursue a plan to establish an LPR headquarters in downtown Loveland.

LPR proposed to assist in repurposing the former Larimer County Building as a headquarters locations for the company.

According to the City of Loveland press release, it was a City economic development incentive that would have provided $750,000.

The letter mentioned above cited the project costs, as well as the business plan changes and political factors which led to the company's decision to abandon the plan.
