Loveland Fire Rescue Authority’s Old Fire Chief is The New Fire Chief
Loveland Fire Rescue Authority's new chief Mark Miller with Brian & Todd
Loveland Fire Rescue Authority's new chief is their old chief. Mark Miller just completed his first week on the job. He returned to Loveland after being away for a decade. Brian and I recently had a chance to meet the Chief at this year's Firefighter's Ball.
Chief Miller was raised in Loveland. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, he started working as a firefighter in Loveland when it was still a department, not an authority. Miller worked various positions in the department for the next 25 years, including serving as a volunteer firefighter.
Miller served as the Loveland fire chief from 2001 to 2005. He then left for positions in Vermont and Vail before he returned.
