The Larimer County Sheriff's Office is still searching for the armed suspect who robbed the Conoco on Garfield Avenue last month.

According to a news release, deputies responded to the gas station at 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, regarding an armed robbery that had just taken place. The clerk said a man entered the business, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash. He complied and the suspect ran on foot toward the car wash north of the gas station.

The clerk wasn't injured and no other customers were in the store during the robbery. Deputies and Loveland Police officers set up a perimeter, and a LCSO K-9 attempted a track, but the suspect was not found.

A video surveillance still was initially released, though it was difficult to see what the man actually looked like. He's described as a white male approximately 35 years of age with a full beard, about 5'6" tall, and weighing about 140 pounds. He was wearing a green ball cap, bulky dark colored hooded jacket, frameless glasses with yellow lenses, and dark colored gloves.

LCSO has released a composite sketch of the suspect (shown above) and would like anyone with knowledge of this case to please contact LCSO investigator Chris Melvin at 970-498-5163. You can also remain anonymous with Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868.
