Lory State Park is inviting visitors and friends to celebrate the season at the Holiday Open House, Saturday, December 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Open House features activities, refreshments, prize drawings, and  fun times for all ages. Parks mascot Talon will greet and take pictures with the youngsters and the Friends of Lory are offering a drawing to win a free annual Parks pass (valued at $70).

ACTIVITIES:

  • See Santamake his early stop at Lory State Park.
  • Get a special, collector’s item, canceled stamp of "Lory State Park Station" through the Bellvue PO Postmasters, from noon to 2 p.m.
  • Make snowflakes to take home and create a winter pinecone feeder treat for the birds. Decorate the Visitor Center with your own window sketches. Supplies provided. Children will enjoy - all ages are welcome!
  • Enjoy light refreshments and hot beverages.
  • Get Park merchandise like hoodies, hats, books/maps, plush animals, t-shirts, and other great sale items!

The Holiday Open House at the Visitor Center is free, however a valid day pass ($7) or annual pass ($70) is required to enter the Park.
