Larimer County has a survey out asking residents less than a dozen questions on how the county should use recovery funds.

They're not saying how much in Federal funds that they have to spread around, but Larimer County and the Larimer Recovery Collaborative has a survey going on right now to get an idea of how members of the county's community would like the money to be spent.

Of course you'd rather that they ask us, before they just spend it on what they 'think' it should be spent on, but unless a very large amount of people complete the survey, it's hard to say how helpful it's going to be.

The Larimer Recovery Collaborative is:

A cross-sector collaborative group working together to help the Larimer County region recover from covid19 and build a more resilient community.

With the current survey they are addressing three specific areas:

WHAT NEGATIVE IMPACTS OF THE PANDEMIC ARE YOU EXPERIENCING?

I think they could ask it differently to get a shorter answer: 'What good things have you seen?' But community members will definitely get a chance to vent.

WHAT RESCOURCES, SERVICES OR OPPORTUNITIES WOULD HELP YOU?

I would bet that folks will say that it's not about there not being enough resource, it's about those resources actually helping, instead of making it harder than it should be.

WHAT WOULD MAKE OUR COMMUNITY STRONGER?

That is a pretty wide-open question. I hope they're ready.

You can let them know how you feel, what you need, and what the county needs by taking their SURVEY HERE.
