The 21st Century Trivia Bowl to benefit Look Both Ways was held last weekend in Loveland. The K99 team, The  KaKnowledgers, were the Business Division Champions.  O.K. There were only 2 teams in the Business Division, but we we are still champions dad-gummit. Here is how it went down:

The K99 team won easily in the 1st 2 games, then the wheels fell off.  We lost 2 in a row and were eliminated by the team we beat in the 1st round. The guys and gals that knocked us out were a bunch of newspaper people.  They called themselves "The Evil League of Evil".  They ended up winning the Open Division and finished 2nd overall. In the last game they were getting questions like,  "Jack and Jill went up a hill to fetch a pail of what?".  Our typical question was, "What kind of wood is used to make the tiles for Scrabble?" It's Maple, by the way.

We are not bitter.  We all had a blast, we are Business Division Champions,  and it raised money for a great Cause, "The Respect Yourself/Protect Yourself health and empowerment workshop for young women ages 14-16".  The workshop is Saturday, March 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Loveland Museum.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the winners of the 21st Century Trivia Bowl. The winners of the Service Division, and also the overall winners were The Kiwanis Club of Loveland! Congrats guys! We will see you next year!
