The Larimer County Fair announced this week that country singer-songwriter Jerrod Niemann will help kick off the 2019 event on Aug. 2.

The free outdoor concert with special guest C.J. Solar will be held at The Ranch in Loveland. The 104th annual Larimer County Fair will run Aug. 2-6 and feature a variety of entertainment — the full lineup has yet to be announced.

Niemann is best known for his country hits "Drink to that all night" and "Lover, Lover." The country artist first burst onto the scene in 2010 with his major label-debut album "Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury" and has also written a number of songs for other artists.

Last year, Niemann released a song called "Old Glory" that was written in honor of U.S. service members after the 2017 Tongo Tongo ambush in Niger.
