Amanda Scott and her four children had never been camping before.

The Greeley family consisting of an 11-year-old boy, nine-year-old girl, seven-year-old girl and four-year-old girl desperately wanted to spend an evening together under the stars — of course, s'mores roasted over a campfire had to be part of the fun.

The Scott family was able to enjoy their dream in late August with a camping trip to Estes Park and its pristine Rocky Mountain backdrop.

The winners of Townsquare Media's Outdoor Adventure camped in style thanks to JAX Outdoor Gear. The storied family-run sporting goods outfitter hooked up the Scott family with two cart loads of brand new camping gear supplies including a six-person tent and the coziest of sleeping bags.

A JAX specialist even came to help the family set up their tent and get their campsite ready. JAX has specialists at each of its seven stores ready to help customers of all skill levels.
