Jake Owen and Loretta Lynn Have Both Lived in This Amazing Mansion! [Pictures]
Jake Owen had no problem selling the rural estate that he bought from Loretta Lynn, and from the looks of the beautiful listing photos, the price was a steal.
Owen was asking $1.5 million for his 4,918 square foot home in Kingston Springs, Tenn., a rural community just outside of Nashville that is home to many in the country music business. According to Zillow, that broke down to $305 per square foot, and financing would break it into monthly payments of $5,851. He officially sold the home on Dec. 21 for $1,310,000, and since then the estimated value of the property has gone up to $1,317,855.
The single home family was built in 2006 and features top-shelf amenities including four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a fully appointed workout room and a built-in recording studio that has enough space for live drums. The three-story home boasts two master suites, an outdoor tiki bar, a hot tub and a massive chef's kitchen, and if you don't want to climb all those stairs, you can always take the elevator.

According to records, the property previously sold for $625,000 in 2012. It's situated on a private, very wooded seven-acre lot that is secluded and quiet, but just 30 minutes from downtown Nashville. Nashville's Tennessean newspaper reports that Owen lived in the house for five-and-a-half years before listing it for sale.
Owen has scored a string of hits that includes "Barefoot Blue Jean Night," "Alone With You," "Anywhere With You" and "Beachin'." He scored his most recent No. 1 single, "Homemade," from his latest album, Greetings From ... Jake.
The singer ended up downsizing considerably when he sold the mansion. As he explained in an interview with the Bobby Bones Show, he had bought another piece of land in the same community so that he could fulfill his dream of building a home from scratch.
"What happened is, I sold my house, not thinking I was going to sell it that fast," he said. "I put it on the market on a Monday, and it sold on a Wednesday. [The buyers] wanted to be in basically by Christmas."
As a result, Owen wound up living on his new land in a 400-square-foot tiny house while he built himself a new home.
