You can tryout to play pro ball in the Nuggets organization

Got $168 and a dream of playing pro basketball? Here’s your chance.

Later this month the Grand Rapids Gold will hold tryouts at Metro State in Denver. The Nuggets‘ G League affiliate is looking for prospective local players with members of the Nuggets coaching and personnel staff present at the event to structure the tryout and evaluate each person. The group will be competing for a spot at the Grand Rapids Gold’s training camp in October, with up to four players getting the nod.

The Nuggets have had a quite offseason so maybe the missing piece the team needs is you? Vince Papale, hello.

Or more realistically the hoops will look like the Pistons tryout below, which went viral for the poor play. But at least those fellas got to play on a Pistons court whereas the Nuggets’ tryouts are happening in front of a roadrunner.
