So, where have the most Bigfoot sightings been reported in Colorado?

Park County, Colorado, is a Hotbed for Bigfoot Sightings

It should come as no surprise that Park County, Colorado, has had the most alleged Bigfoot sightings in the state’s history.

Park County, which is home to the Sasquatch Outpost in Bailey, has had a total of 13 Bigfoot sightings.

According to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, the last reported Bigfoot sighting in Park County was in August of 2018, while the last posted sighting was in February of 2020.

Where Else in Colorado Has Bigfoot Been Spotted the Most?

The county with the second-most alleged Bigfoot sightings in Colorado is Teller. In case you’re not familiar, Teller County is located just east of Park County and shares a border with El Paso County as well. As of 2025, nine Bigfoot sightings have been reported in Teller County.

There are numerous counties in Colorado that have reported a total of eight Bigfoot sightings over the years, including Lake County, which is home to Leadville, Larimer County, which is home to Fort Collins, and Conejos County, which is located on the state’s southern border that is shared with New Mexico.

Other counties that have reported numerous Bigfoot sightings over the years include El Paso, which has seen seven Bigfoot encounters, Eagle, which has seen six, as well as Summit, Routt, and Pitkin Counties, which have each seen five.
