For over 100 years, Windsor, Colorado, has held a festival to unofficially wrap up the summer. It brings thousands from across Northern Colorado to the small-"ish" town for music, food, live music and more.

Windsor Harvest Festival Adds Drone Show with 2026 Weekend

With the 2026 Windsor Harvest Festival, festival goers will be treated a drone show  Saturday, September 5, right before the fireworks show. Word has it, that a Windsor High School graduate is one of the designers of the drone show, as well. How cool is that?

Many will say that drone shows "aren't as good/fun as fireworks;" but, there will still be fireworks, beginning at 9:20 that night, so it's a "win win" for Windsor. The fireworks have been a highlight for many years, like the Picture the Sky Balloon Rally, happening Saturday and Sunday mornings, each day starting at 6:30 a.m. (weather permitting.)
