There’s An Awesome New Hotel In Estes Park with 2 Pools

Colorado Travel just picked up a cool new hotel, in Estes Park. When friends and family come to town, you can suggest it, as a place to stay.

When you're looking for a Rocky Mountain National Park adventure, one of the best ways to do so is to stay in Estes Park. This way, you can get all the amenities of a nice hotel, then go hiking, biking, fishing.

Where once there was the Twin Owls Motor Lodge in Estes Park, there is a new, much fancier place to rest your bones.

What's happening is there will be two boutique hotels under the same umbrella part of the same property: "Trailborn." One is Trailborn Rocky Mountains (currently open) and Trailborn Rocky Mountains Outpost, opening soon.

WHERE IS THIS NEW HOTEL IN ESTES PARK, COLORADO?

Trailborn Rocky Mountains is right off of Highway 36 (North St. Vrain) just west of Highway 7.

In 2021, Twin Owls Motor Lodge took over what used to be Estes Village; Trailborn completely renovated the Motor Lodge. The new hotel blends modern and rustic; you don't have to "rough it," to enjoy the Colorado outdoors, right?

Rates run from about $180/night to $220/night. The property will have 86 rooms in all, once Rocky Mountains Outpost opens.

Are you searching for a great deal on a hotel room in Colorado? Believe it or not, you can still find a hotel in Colorado for less than $50 a night.

For this gallery, I conducted a little test. Using the website Hotels.com, I searched for a room for two guests for the date of September 27, 2023. The search produced a number of hotels offering rates in the $50 range. Please note, the findings presented here reflect a singular website and only those offers valid for the date of September 27, 2023.

If you can live without amenities such as a hotel gym, golf course, and fine dining, these Colorado hotels may be precisely what you're looking for.
