Thousands and thousands of Coloradans love pizza; the idea of another chain coming to Loveland may put off some. To others, however, they may be saying "finally."

Who is the Pizza Chain Coming to Loveland, Colorado?

Having grown up in Loveland, I'd never heard of Fox's Pizza Den until I heard they were coming to Loveland. Those who have lived on the east coast, however, may know them well as they've been around since 1971. It's actually a great "American Dream" story.

The man who started it all, Jim Fox, started with $500, a rented storeroom, and equipment from a scrapyard in Pittsburgh. More than four decades later, Fox's Pizza Dens are in about 20 states. There are already two in Colorado: one in Elizabeth and one in Peyton.

Where Will Fox's Pizza Den Be in Loveland?

I follow the Facebook page of the north Walmart in Loveland, off of 65th Avenue and Lincoln Avenue, and it was they who broke the news that their store would be getting a Fox's. I think I remember a Burger King being inside that Walmart for a long time before they shut it down.

What's the Menu Like for Fox's Pizza Den?

Fox's Pizza Den isn't just about pizza, that's for sure. They have hoagies, Stromboli, wings, fries, and these pizza-sandwich things called "Wedgies," that look delicious. The pizzas cost $10-$35, the sandwiches $13-$14. They probably won't be a place that delivers, but I can't be sure.

The franchise owner, who also owns the Elizbeth and Peyton Fox's, worked out this deal with Walmart: they're going to be in Loveland, Arvada, Broomfield, and Lafayette Walmarts, likely before the fall of 2026.
