Broncos Beat The Eagles 21-17 in Philadelphia for Signature Win
The narrative was that the Sean Payton-Bo Nix Era Denver Broncos couldn't win close games against tough opponents... that they were 1-10 against winning teams the last two years and couldn't beat anyone that mattered.
Everyone had picked the Philadelphia Eagles to prove that theory this past weekend as the 2-2 Broncos traveled east to Philly. Except, the Broncos left 3-2, after handing the Eagles their first loss of the season 21-17.
Was it perfect? It was not. Did they get some help with a few penalties? Yes, finally, as opposed to the other way around. Say what you will about a missed pass interference call late in the game - even that it nullified a ridiculous penalty or two earlier in the game - but the Broncos put themselves back on the contender map by playing a complete game with grit, guts and enough points to head off to London with a win.

Oh, you hadn't heard? That's right, the Broncos haven't come back home from Philly after their win. They've gone straight for jolly old England, where they will be the visitor against the home team New York Jets next Sunday - very, very early in the morning.
Their kickoff will be at 2:30 PM, so a half hour later than we're used... no wait a minute. That's 2:30 PM IN ENGLAND! Which means the Broncos will play at - wait for it - 7:30 AM Denver time next Sunday. Better plan on not going out Saturday night.
For now, for the next week, bask in the glory of our team beating the defending Super Bowl Champs. All is right in Broncos Country this week, and the rest of the NFL feels it too.
