Bo Nix Undergoes Another Ankle Procedure In Recovery Process
If you follow anything Denver Broncos related on social media, you likely got a bit of a scare earlier this week when you saw headlines like "Bo Nix Has Another Ankle Procedure" or "Timeline Of Bo Nix Recovery In Question Due To Procedure" or anything else like those.
Should this be something Broncos fans should be worried about?
Not really. Turns out it was the plan all along, in fact, now it's ahead of schedule.
Nix underwent a "clean up procedure" on his right ankle this week, a procedure that was scheduled long ago that nobody in the press really knew about, as a follow up to the surgery he had when he fractured the ankle during the playoff win over Buffalo in January.

Originally the follow up appointment would have been scheduled for next offseason, but Nix is doing so well his doctors decided to go ahead and do it now.
Nix had to sit out the AFC Championship snow-bowl in Denver, where the Patriots beat the Broncos to advance to the Super Bowl where they ultimately lost to the Seattle Seahawks in Santa Clara, California.
Broncos owner Greg Penner had said earlier this year that Nix was ahead of schedule in his recovery and was expected for organized team activities in June, but that came into question with news of this latest procedure, with the team now saying he will be on track for training camp when it starts in July.

Head Coach Sean Payton updated the media the other day, saying to the Denver Post that "We're excited about his progress. Nothing to report."
