Having a white Christmas in Colorado can make you realize why we all love living here. Seeing the snow on the mountaintops, and on the ground, is majestic. It seems a lot of us are looking forward to one.
The Christmas music in the background, the kids playing with their new toys, Uncle Tony taking a nap. The sights and sounds of a great Christmas Day in Colorado. Having it snow on Christmas just adds to the enjoyment of it all.
Nobody's eager to see a "dumping" of snow on Christmas Day, some huge amount of snow that could make travel hazardous; we're just looking for a little snow; say, at least an inch of it.

If you're looking to be somewhere it's just about guaranteed to snow at least one inch on Christmas, you're in luck. The team at BeColorado.com put together data gathered from Climate.gov over the last 30 years and came up with the ten towns we should hit up.
MOST PEOPLE IN COLORADO LOOK FORWARD TO A WHITE CHRISTMAS
BetColorado conducted a survey and found that 64% of Coloradans want a white Christmas this year. No state was 100% "on board" for a white Christmas - Kentucky had the highest "want" at 77%, Alaska the lowest, at 31%.

For all of the Centennial State the 30-year data shows that we have an overall 48.6% shot at snow on Christmas.
