Garth Brooks Adds Two Shows To Blame It All On My Roots Tour
There are now four concerts on Garth Brooks' 2026 tour itinerary. The singer and songwriter just announced two additional Blame It All On My Roots Tour dates.
- Garth Brooks announced his 2026 Blame It All On My Roots Tour on July 7.
- It begins in Indianapolis, Ind., with additional cities expected to be announced.
- All seats are priced at $154 before taxes, with the ticket price including facility and service fees.
The new shows will also be in Indianapolis. Brooks says demand for the original two concerts (on sale Friday) inspired an additional matinee concert on Aug. 23 and a new opening night on Aug. 20.
So far, Indianapolis remains the only city on his itinerary but that figures to change.
Garth Brooks Tour 2026
If this new tour operates like previous tours, he'll announce a new city only after ticket sales for the Indy shows have hit a satisfactory mark. Expect an initial set of dates to expanded elsewhere "due to popular demand." This a la carte approach to revealing cities is something very few other artists do, if any.
No opening act has been revealed for these shows. Historically, Brooks' wife Trisha Yearwood has played before he takes the stage.
Brooks said the move back to arenas is designed to create a more intimate concert experience while preserving the scale of his stadium productions. “Every seat is a great seat. This is personal,” he said in a statement.
The tour will revive the iconic Drum Pod, the plexiglass and aluminum structure that enclosed drummer Mike Palmer during Brooks’ late-1990s shows. Brooks teased its return in a social media video after clearing his Instagram account, calling it back into service after 30 years.
The concerts will also be recorded for a new live album titled Killer Live, continuing the tradition that produced Brooks’ bestselling 1998 live release, Double Live.
