It Is Now Even Easier To Fly To Europe From DIA Thanks To United Airlines

With the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic behind us - which includes the rescindment of most travel restrictions - airline travel is beginning to pick up once again, and at a fast pace.
According to multiple sources including 9News, United Airlines is launching and reintroducing 30 transatlantic flights through early June in the largest transatlantic expansion in the airline's history.
What does United Airlines' transatlantic expansion mean for travelers flying in/out of Denver Internation Airport (DEN)?
For those seeking to travel internationally via United Airlines at Denver International Airport (DEN), United's service expansion will reportedly feature a second daily flight between Denver International Airport and London Heathrow Airport (LHR) beginning Saturday, May 7.
The flight joins United's second daily flight between Denver and Munich, Germany which kicked off on Saturday, Apr. 23.
As per officials from the mega airline, United said it is the only U.S. airline to offer transatlantic service from Denver International Airport.
More About United Airlines' Systemwide Expansion
According to the United Airlines website, United's systemwide expansion includes new nonstop flights to the following international destinations:
- Amman, Jordan
- Bergen, Norway
- Azores, Portugal
- Palma de Mallorca, Spain
- Tenerife in the Spanish Canary Islands
In addition, United Airlines will also be reintroducing fourteen Atlantic routes in which the airline has previously served, as well as multiple frequencies in six others.
