With the way winter has held its grip on Northern Colorado the last two weeks, we've been wondering when the warm weather will be back. Maybe this is a sign?

According to the Coloradoan, this Friday will be the day that the boat ramps will be open on Horsetooth and Carter Lake and you can start making your plans for the boating season.

The Coloradoan states that starting Friday, South Bay and Inlet Bay will be open from 7 A.M. - 7 P.M. seven days a week.

The Satanka boat ramp will be open Friday - Sunday 8 A.M. - 4 P.M.

If you will be bringing your boat to the north ramp at Carter Lake, that will be open from 7 A.M. - 7 P.M. seven days a week.
