If Yellowstoners Were Coloradans, What Town Did They Come From?
I will admit, before taking a headfirst dive into the show Yellowstone, my initial thought was that the series took place in Wyoming. The Paramount Network show is wildly popular and with FOMO (fear of missing out) being a real thing, we caved and got a Peacock subscription.
Within the first two weeks of our subscription, my wife and I flew through all three seasons. John, Beth, Rip, Kayce, and Jaime all had their likes and dislikes about them. When you find a good show, it will get you talking long after the credit roll. Yellowstone did that for us.
Recently, we found out that the hats used on the show are created right here in Colorado by Trent Johnson of Greeley Hat Works. Not long after learning about the hats, a post on Facebook showed up via clothing brand WildVouge's Facebook page.
The post shows where the cast of Yellowstone and where they might be from if they came from different parts of Colorado and it couldn't be more accurate. Check it out:
John Dutton - Gunnison
Beth Dutton - Aspen
Rip Wheeler - Kim
Lloyd Pierce - Eastern Plains
Kaycee and Monica Dutton - Durango
Jamie Dutton - Denver
Jimmy - Canon City
Walker - Greeley
Teeter - Lamar
Travis - Pueblo County
I have to disagree with this one. Travis, played by Yellowstone co-creator, Taylor Sheridan, seems like he would be from Castle Pines considering he drives a $150k pickup truck and is slightly arrogant.
Carter - Rocky Ford
Garrett Randle - Grand Junction
Summer Higgins - Boulder
What do you think? DId WildVogue accurately represent where each character is from if they were from Colorado? We would love to hear what you have to say.
