The Denver Broncos will have an unknown element to their offense when they host the Cleveland Browns at 2:25 p.m. on Sunday.

New starting quarterback Brandon Allen has never thrown a pass in an NFL regular season game but previously wore Jacksonville Jaguars and L.A. Rams uniforms before coming to Denver.

Previous starter Joe Flacco’s season is over after being put on the injured reserve. His Broncos debut ends with a 2-6 record. The former Super Bowl MVP threw for 1,822 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions in what could end up being a short Broncos stint.

The 2-5 Browns were hyped heavily in the preseason but have yet to deliver. Still, Cleveland is road favorites in the Vegas lines while traveling to Mile High.

While Browns starting quarterback Baker Mayfield has thrown twice as many interceptions (12) as he has touchdowns (6) this season, the Cleveland offense has been powered by a potent running game. Nick Chubb has rushed for 738 yards and six touchdowns.

Last year, Chubb rushed for 100 yards on 20 carries in the Browns’ 17-16 road win over the Broncos. Mayfield threw a pair of touchdowns and one interception in that Dec. 15 game.
