Here’s How You Salt Cure Egg Yolks
About three months ago when we were over a friend's house, my wife and I got the opportunity to try salt-cured egg yolks. They were amazing and we knew that we had to make them for our ourselves. There are plenty of recipes on Google for you to try, but we took advice from our friend and ran with it. Salt-cured yolks can be used in place of cheese and added to your dish for an additional layer of flavor, whether that's soups, salads or pastas.
Now that you are intrigued, I am going to show you how I made our salt-cured egg yolks.
The entire process took about two weeks to complete.
Depending on how many eggs you decide to cure, they should last you quite a while. Enjoy!
