Here’s How NOCO Broncos Fans Can Get to the Game and Not Drive in October
You are a tried and true Broncos fan. You love going to the games but hate driving down to Mile High Stadium and back. Good news! In the month of October, you can have someone else drive you to the games!
CDOT is beginning a special Bustang service for Broncos fans to take you to and from the homes games at Mile High Stadium in October. Not only will Bustang service Northern Colorado from Fort Collins to Denver but will also help out our Broncos fans in Southern Colorado from Colorado Springs.
“Broncos Country extends well beyond the Denver area. Fans come from around the state to cheer on their team,” says CDOT Director of Transit and Rail Mark Imhoff. “Bustang to Broncos will allow fans from the northern and southern Front Range to enjoy the game day experience without the stress of driving.”
Taking Bustang to the games gives fans an easy and comfortable way to get to the game with close drop-off and pick-up locations close to the stadium and plenty of opportunity to enjoy the pre-game fun as the buses will arrive 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
Round trip tickets per person will be $30
Home games at Mile High Stadium for the month of October include:
October 9th against the Atlanta Flacons
October 30th against the San Diego Chargers
Both games kick off at 2:05 pm and here are the times and locations that you can take Bustang to the games:
Fort Collins to Mile High Stadium
10:35 a.m. Departure: Fort Collins Downtown Transit Center
10:55 a.m. Departure: Harmony Road Park & Ride
11:10 a.m. Departure: Loveland U.S. 34 Park & Ride
Arrival
12:30 p.m. Arrival: Mile High Stadium, RTD Lane 2
Mile High Stadium to Fort Collins
Bustang will depart back to Fort Collins 30 minutes after the end of the game or when all of the passengers return via head count.
Now, this will only be for the month of October for home games. However, if the service gets enough riders for the games, CDOT will continue the service from Northern and Southern Colorado for the rest of the 2016 season.
I think this is a great service and for the price, you can't beat it. You don't have to find parking, you don't have to worry about keeping your eyes on the road and you can enjoy the company of fellow Broncos fans on the way to the game!
